European Public Private Partnership (PPP) Expertise Centre (EPEC): Building Public Sector Expertise and Organizational Capacity in the European Union (EU)
Presentation dictated during the event "Experiencias de Provisión y Financiamiento de Infraestructura bajo Asociaciones Publico Privadas", held at the Inter-American Development Bank, Washington D.C., December 8-9, 2005. It explains how the European Union is responding to the challenges posed by Public Private Partnerships, and the work the European Expertise Centre (EPEC) has done on the topic. It also describes the main characteristics of EPEC and its modus operandi inside the EU.
