Developing Economies as Toyota Production Systems: Why the Analogy Makes Sense, How It Can Inform Industrial Policy
This essay explores the governance mechanisms by which an industrial policy based on Toyota Production System (TPS) principles can learn from, collaborate with and ultimately help transform the context of the economic actors without being captured by them.
