Control químico de enfermedades foliares en zanahoria (Daucus carota L.) con dos ciclos de aspersión
An experiment was carried out at "La Selva" ICA 's experimental station located in Rionegro (Antioquia) at 2.120 meters above sea level and with 170 C as average temperature. The objectives were to evaluate the effect of Alternaria dauci and Cercospora carotae on carrot cv "Danvers 126" production as well as the control obtained by applying different fungicides every week and every other week. During the experiment 1.043 mm of rain fell down. The model to relate percentage of diseases and yield was highly significant with a determination coefficient of 927o. Better control and higher yields were obtained by applying the products every week. Captafol (1,6 g of i.a./l of water) produced the best control and the highest yield. As alternative for control of these fungi the products Chlorotalonil and Stanium Hidroxide (1,5 and 0,4 g of i.a./l of water, respectively) were considered
