Some new records of marine algae from Vietnam - I
Eight taxa belonging to the divisions of Rhodophyta, Phaeophyta and Chlorophyta are described. Among them, Sargassum serratum (Fucales - Phaeophyta) is new species and another seven taxa: Galaxaura pacifica (Nemaliales - Rhodophyta), Caulerpa cupressoides var. lycopodium, Caulerpa cupressoides var. mamillosa, Caulerpa serrulata var serrulata f. lata, Caulerpa webbiana f. tomentella, Udotea flabellum and Halimeda micronesica (Caulerpales - Chlorophyta) are first records of the algal flora of Vietnam.
