The current status of marine sciences research in coastal lagoons of Kenya.
In this report an overview of the current status of marine science in the country is discussed, in particular the research activities at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute in Mombasa. Finally the role of Kenyan universities in training marine scientists is examined.
