Long-term changes of sprat eggs and larvae abundance in the Baltic Sea
On the base of long-term (1968-1977) material on ichthyoplankton the dynamics of sprat eggs and larvae abundance on its main spawning grounds depending on the changes of hydrological conditions is considered. Spawning periods according to areas and main spawning areas are revealed. Sprat eggs and larvae abundance in sea depths in spring and summer periods is shown.
