Some regularities of zoobenthos distribution in the eastern part of the Baltic Sea
The regularities of zoobenthos distribution in the eastern part of the Baltic Sea are summarized. The species diversity, density and biomass of zoobenthos in various areas of the Eastern Baltic are considered. The distribution of Macoma baltica, Pontoporeia affinis and P. femorata are analyzed. The scheme of distribution of various trophic groups in zoobenthos is presented.
