Determination of formaldehyde as indicator of determination in Persian Gulf fish

In order determine the shelf life of five finfish and shellfish species lizard fish, white pomfret, Spanish Mackerel, Friglescale sardinella, green tiger shrimp meat, the amount of formaldehyde (FA) , total volatile Nitrogen (T.V.N) during cold storage were studied . A) The result indicator formaldehyde (FA) in this species. B) During storage in 0 °C - 20 °C - 40 °C the amount of Formaldehyde increase rapidly. C) The level of formaldehyde concentration obtained in this species have been compared and discussed. D) Fluctuation in formaldehyde concentration in this species does not show fame pattern. E)The largest and shortest were found to be belong to silver pomfret and lizardfish, T.V.N test in this study used as a subsidiary test.
