Aquatic pollution and limnological studies
The work which is reported briefly here below, was donefollowing a research programme set out as follows: 1.1. Studying and collecting data for the general limnologyof the lakes and rivers. 1.2. Studying the aquatic pollution of the above systems. The first part of the programme was intended to provide limnological data (physico-chemical and biological) on the main inland waters of the" region which include the Uganda lakes Victoria, Albert, Kioga, George, Edward and Kikorongo.
