Recent trends in the fisheries of the Northern portion of Lake Victoria, Uganda
A study on the fish stocks and feeding habitats of Lates niloticus in the Northern portion of lake Victoria , Uganda. A general decline in catch rates and total landings was observed this was due to among other factors, overfishing, use of beach seines and smaller mesh gillnets and predation on some of the species by Lates niloticus.
