This is the report from the South Lancashire Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 13th December 1979.The report contains the minutes of the last meeting and the Regional Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting held on 12th November 1979. This last section looks at the future of Stocks Reservoirs and it includes Appendixes with estimated capital costs, estimated annual revenue, expenditure and income, a letter from the Director of Resource Planning and a map showing Stocks Reservoir Nature Reserve recommended by LNT.The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.
