Phenotypic variation in Calandrinia galapagosa (Portulacaceae)
Calandrinia galapagosa St. John is found only on SanCristóbal Island in the Galápagos archipelago, where it isseverely threatened by feral goats. A population at CerroColorado is protected by an exclosure constructed for thispurpose in 1993. Individuals of this population have whiteor pinkish white flowers with a green stem, whereas thepopulation at La Galapaguera, has pinkish white flowerswith a purple stem.
