Fischereiliche Eignung von Dorsch-Stellnetzen mit Scheuchmaschen für den Schutz von Kleinwalen
The present contribution summarizes results of fisheryinvestigations with standard cod gillnets and gillnetswith attached large meshes of 3.4 meter meshsizebuilt from rope of 6 mm diameter. Only the relativeefficiency of both nets for cod was investigated.A reduction of 70 % of catch by the attached mesheswas observed.
