California shellfish importation and planting report 1975-1976 season
The amount of shellfishes imported and planted inState waters is enumerated by species and comparedwith the previous season. Total giant Pacificoyster seed shipments were equivalent to 5,249standard cases, compared with 11,884 standardcases the previous season. Sources of these seedoysters were Japan, Washington State and BritishColumbia, Canada. Adult Eastern oyster shipmentsfrom New York State totaled 442 bushels. (5pp.)
