Предварительные данные о возможности использования каталазной активности крови с целью определения уровня обмена в организме лососевых рыб

Study on fish breathing intensity is of great practical importance, permitting to the right degree to estimate their maintenance conditions and feeding quality. The attempt was made to determine the breathing intensity of Salmonidae by the estimation of blood catalase activity at rearing on food rations with different levels of animal and vegetable protein and at different oxygen content in water. The investigations showed that the decrease of oxygen content in water caused the decrease of catalase activity value. It was also determined that catalase activity was higher in the blood of fish, reared on food with higher protein levels, including animal protein. The determination of fish blood catalase activity may be used for estimation of breathing intensity and physiological state of fish, reared in different environmental conditions.
