Introducing of genetic indicators for identification of three commercial shrimps from Persian Gulf and Oman Sea by using PCR-RFLP analysis

Some bottom trawls were carried out in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea (Hormozgan and Bushehr provinces) regarding to study the main three commercial species shrimp, namely: Penaeus indicus, P. merguiensis and P. semisulcatus. Six samples or each species were collected for further examinations. Total DNA Of each sample was extracted using the phenol and chlorophorm method. mtDNA was ampliphied by using a pair of primers from sequencing of two Of Cytocrom Oxydase unit . The PCR products were digested using nine restriction endonuclease enzyme. Seven enzymes showed polymorphic patterns among different species, and 3 enzymes of Hinf , Hinc  and Rsa  were recognized as genetic markers for species identification or shrimps.
