Produção e acúmulo de forragem via morfogênese em pastos de capim-Tamani sob doses de adubação nitrogenada.
Abstract: The maximization of biomass production of forage species through the use of nitrogen fertilization has been increasingly studied, aiming to improve the efficiency of pasture use. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of nitrogen fertilization on the accumulation and forage production submitted to increasing doses of nitrogen in tamani-grass. A completely randomized block design with three replicates was used. Treatments consisted of equivalent doses of nitrogen at 0; 100; 300; 600 and 1200 kg ha-1 year-1. The variables analyzed were: forage growth rate (FGR), forage yield rate (FYR) and tillers population density (TPD). As the analyzed variables increased linearly as a function of the nitrogen dose, positive linear increments of 0.86 kg ha-1 day-1 for FGR and FYR and 0.82 position m-2 for PDT were estimated. Nitrogen fertilization provides an increase in the production and accumulation of tamani-grass forage up to a dose equivalent to 1200 kg ha-1 year-1.
