Rice rhizosphere metagenome Raw sequence reads

Rice rhizophere soil metagenome samples from two parent lines (Francis and Rondo) and nine recombinant inbred lines (RILs) resulting from a cross of the parents (FR) under continuously flooded conditions. The parents display diverging methane emissions patterns (i.e. Francis is a low CH4 emitter and Rondo is a high CH4 emitter) as well as diverging agronomic traits (e.g. Francis is low biomass and Rondo is high biomass). The goal of this study was twofold; 1) determine genotypic impact on methane emissions and methane-cycling microbial community; 2) determine if biomass trait differences arising from genotypic differences influence the plant-beneficial microbial community structure.
