Metagenome sample, sequencing controls - corn and soybean rhizosphere microbiome and rotation length
Subset of controls used during library preparation and sequencing of corn and rhizosphere metagenome samples, as part of a rotation length experiment. Control samples were included in the library preparation and sequencing to evaluate resolution of OTU-calling platforms, potential PCR bias (with known community) and contamination (with empty wells, water and DNA extraction controls). Known community controls were generated in house with DNA extracts of known single isolates.
