Sequencing of novel Turicibacter isolates from livestock species

Turicibacter is a genus of anaerobic bacteria, commonly identified in the intestine of animals. Turicibacter is highly heritable and capable of interaction with host-derived compounds, suggesting it contributes to host physiological processes. Here, we have isolated Turicibacter strains from various livestock species to make genotypic and phenotypic comparisons.
