Next Generation Amplicon Sequencing of Blastocystis in Wild Spanish Carnivores
Next generation sequencing (NGS) was performed on fecal sample DNA to determine prevalence and identify subtypes of Blastocystis in wild Spanish carnivores. Blastocystis-specific primers were used to amplify the SSU rRNA gene.
