Soil Moisture Daily Records for Different Water Harvesting Treatments, Jordan, 2017

Soil moisture daily records for two months during the 2017 winter/spring rainy season, at the water benchmark site established in 2005 in Al-Majeddyeh. The soil moisture records were taken using the Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) device. The readings were taken at different depths and for different treatments, inside the Vallerani micro water harvesting, in between the Vallerani lines, and inside the continuous contour line. The measurement was executed by local farmers, who were trained and equipped to read out the soil moisture data at different depths. The data were collected through hard copy sheets - entered and analyzed in the office.
