Mini Course: Rural Youth Entrepreneurship Social Networks

This course highlights the importance of Social Media in entrepreneurship, especially in rural entrepreneurship, demonstrating that they are accessible and can be used by everyone, especially young people. When used correctly, these tools are very powerful for any type of business and can be platforms that help develop entrepreneurial initiatives and actions. The short course focuses on the three most used Social Media platforms in Brazil today: Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. It provides basic notions of usage - and importance - of Social Media, exploring, as much as possible, the functionalities in each of them. These are mini-lessons that guide you step by step through these digital tools, teaching you from creating an account to their proper usage. The videos created for this EAD (Distance Education) will encourage rural youth to discover all the possibilities of Social Media and to put their creativity into practice. By the end of the course, you will be able to: Have a general understanding of what digital marketing is. Understand the importance of social media for entrepreneurship. Know and master the most important tools of the major Social Media platforms, to use them as channels for spreading ideas and content, advertising, engaging with the audience, and marketing. Encourage young people to discover other functionalities of Social Media and observe their changes, which are always evolving and improving. Understand and apply mobile video editing techniques to produce content for social media. Apply the concepts, techniques, and tips in the creation and development of relevant businesses on Social Media.
