Oil palm : Measuring photosynthesis and respiration.
Two techniques, for measuring oil palm photosynthesis and respiration in situ, are described. Details of the equipment used are included. The 2 techniques, which have so far been used in the field in the Cote d'Ivoire, Benin and Indonesia, require 2people to carry them out and are quick (23 min per measurement), reliable and nondestructive.
