L' utilisation d' engins lourds en culture intensive se traduit souvent par la formation au niveau du sol d' horizons tasses prejudiciables au bon fonctionnement des cultures. Pour tenter de corriger ce phenomene, des essais de sous solage ont eteeffectues sur la plantation experimentale Robert Michaux, Dabou, Cote d' Ivoire. Ce conseil decrit le materiel de sous solage mis au point et precise ses conditions d' utilisation.
