Registro de una placa dentaria en el endopterigoides del charal prieto Chirostoma attenuatum (Teleostei: Atherinopsidae)

The endopterygoid bone of Chirostoma attenuatum has a tooth plate on the dorsal surface, which is oval and has unicuspid teeth; this character is unique for this species of Chirostoma; the tooth plate had been reported in some species of Atherinella and Atherinomorus stipes, there have teeth arranged in rows or isolated.
