Transit migration through the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area actors challenges and perspectives from experience FM4 Paso Libre

In this document we outline, from our direct experience as an organization that supports people in transit, the migration dynamics' complexities in what is the longest train journey through the Mexico. We also highlight the challenges and obstacles that carrying out this humanitarian work implies. We share our experiences, as well as the concerns that have arisen throughout time and which pose new challenges, necessary to continue to improve in what we do and how we deal with growing and more complex demands. We work in a context where the future of migration seems to grow more uncertain day by day, while the humanitarian catastrophe seems to be the only constant factor. In this path, our collective work inspires us with wishes and illusions, and invites us to continue searching for new ways to build hope.
