Effect of coinoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizas (AM) and Azobacter chroococcum (BFN) on different substrates on the production of coffee seedlings (Coffea arabica L.)

The effect of coinoculation with the arbuscular mycorrhiza Glomus mexico (IES-9) and Azotobacter chroococcum was evaluated on coffee with different substrates. A. chroococcum was applied at sowing or 110 days later. G. mexico was applied at sowing. It is concluded that coinoculation resulted in effective production of coffee seedlings, with a 5 : 1 ratio of coffee pulp and soil being optimum.
