Control biológico de Syngonium podophyllum Schott, una arvense perjudicial en los cafetos de Cuba
Diseases of Syngonium podophyllum were studied in coffee plantations in Cuba during September 1999-May 2000. Necrotic areas localized along the leaf veins and reaching up to 25 percent infection corresponded to the presence of Colletotrichum spp. The incidence of these symptoms varied between 28.3-31.1 percent in January and 15.3-16.4 percent in April. Similar symptoms were also observed following artificial inoculation with Cercospora sp.
