Hongos endomicorrízicos: una opción para el manejo de Meloidogyne exigua en café

The interaction between two vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi Entrophospora colombiana and Gigaspora margarita and the root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne exigua and their effects on the growth of coffee plants was studied. Both mycorrhizal fungi decrease the multiplication rate of M. exigua and the gall index. Plant's foliar area and dry weight were greater with Gigaspora.
