Controle da ferrugem em regioes cafeeiras de maiores altitudes na Venezuela :

Chemical control of coffee rust with triadimenol via soil was evaluated during two cycles, 1990-1991 and 1991-1992, in El Végon, Táchira State, Venezuela, at 850 m of altitude. The dosages of triadimenol tested were: 0.0; 0.05; 0.1; 0.2 and 0.4 g/pl of a.i. A standard treatment consisting of five applications of copper oxychloride (1.5 kg/ha of a.i.) was applied from May through September at 30 days interval. In the first cycle the standard treatment controlled the disease more efficiently than triadimenol. Higher coffee berry yields was obtained with copper oxychloride. In the second cycle, triadimenol concentration above 0.2 g/pl of a.i. gave similar disease control compared to the standard treatment without any increase in yield.
