Host-parasitic relationship between certain plantation crops and the two races of the coffee nematode, Pratylenchus coffeae
Populations of coffee and cardamom races of Pratylenchus coffeae (Nematoda) were cross inoculated to coffee, cardamom, orange, ginger, banana and black pepper for assessing their reaction. Coffee race was found pathogenic to coffee, orange, ginger and banana while cardamom race affected cardamom and ginger. Both the races failed to infect pepper.
