Estimativa do número de geracoes de tres racas de Meloidogyne incognita em cafeeiro para o estado de Sao Paulo
The biology of Meloidogyne incognita races 1, 2 and 4 on coffee roots (cv. Mundo Novo, line LCMP 376/4) was studied under 4 constant temperatures (20, 24, 28 and 32°C) and a field temperature (average of 21,9°C). With basis on the obtained data, thermal constants and finally annual number of generations were estimated for each race, for the conditions of Sao Paulo State. At the isotherms between 17 and 24°C, and at soil depth of 5-40 cm, the estimatives for annual number of generations determined were as follows: for race 1, 5,9 to 12,5; for race 2, 5,5 to 11,4 and for race 4, 4,5 to 9,4
