Station selections and their quality
1- The cup quality status of arabica selections, exotic robusta and congensis x robusta, assessed by organoleptic method is described. 2- There is no differences in the cup quality of different arabica selections and the quality is rated as average for all selections. 3- Arabica accessions from Ethiopia have good-fine cup quality. 4- The cup quality of CxR variety and six exotic robusta accessories recorded fair to good body and acidity, which is lacking in other robusta varieties. 5- Identification of rust tolerant and high crop yielding plants in Ethiopian arabica accessions are suggested to utilise them in developing new varieties with good cup quality
