El presente artículo versa sobre varias especies de nemátodos que atacan al café y dentro de estas especies anota que la más destructiva es Pratylenchus coffeae. Describe los síntomas presentes en las plantas de café cuando son atacados por nemátodos, siendo el Coffea arabica en general, susceptible y Coffea canephora tolerante (no resistente), además presenta ciertas medidas de control cultural
