Comparative efficacy of four fungicides for control of coffee leaf rust :
Four fungicides were evaluated in a field trial to control coffee leaf rust fungus, Hemileia vastatrix in Coffea arabica, Kent cultivar over three year period at Central Coffee Research Institute. Among the fungicides tested, two systemic fungicides Bayleton and Tilt were superior to presently recommended Plantvax and Bordeaux mixture. Topsin and Aureofungin sol were not effective. In situ, the germination of uredospores was completely inhibited in all the treatments except Topsin and untreated control
