Biological control of coffee green scales (Coccus spp.) for Papua New Guinea Coffee Board - CIBC No.584
Collections of green scales from coffee and other plants (e.g. citrus and guava), and other scales from coffee, together with their natural enemies were continued and extended in Kenya during the first half of 1985. This enabled more information to be gathered about the host specificity of the encyrtids Metaphycus stanleyi Gompere and Metaphycus sp.nr. Iousburyi. Howard collected from the green scale on coffee in Central Kenya. Preliminary results indicate that both of these wasps are fairly specific to green scale on coffee
