A new look at coffee in Arunachal Pradesh
The prospects for the Arunachal Pradesh region (north east India) to sustain coffee cultivation are being examined at the Coffee Demonstration Farm at Deomali. The topography, geography, climate and soil types are described. It is concluded that given some modifications in farming methods, good management and encouragement by the Coffee Board, coffee cultivation should be possible in this new area. (ICO.
