Fatores naturais de mortalidade de Perileucoptera coffeella, Guérin - Méneville (Lepidoptera - Lyonetiidae), em café, Jaboticabal

The research was carried out in a coffee crop, variety Mundo Novo, near Jaboticabal city, in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, during the period from December 1983 to July 1986. The objectives were: (1) to make fortnightly ecological sensus for the events into the mines of P. coffeella; (2) to calculate the mortality key factor; (3) to identify the parasites and predators. Mortality key factor was predation by wasps. The parasite species of P. coffeella found were all of Hymenoptera, family Eulophidae, and represented by: Closterocerus coffeellae Ihering; Cirrospilus sp.; Proacrias coffeae Ihering; Tetrastichus sp. The wasps (Hymenoptera - Vespidae) collected were: Polistes versicolor (Olivier); Polubia scutellaris White; Protonectarina sylveirae De Saussure; Polistes lanio (Fabricius); Brachygastra sp
