Evaluation sur le terrain de la résistance des hybrides et de leurs parents aux agressions, cas du Coffea arabica L
An investigation was conducted at two sites in Ethiopia to examine the existence and the nature of variabilities for possible use of stress tolerant genotypes. Fourteen treatments in four replications of four tree plots were evaluated for leaf defoliation, discolouration and susceptibility to coffee leaf rust. Generally, the hybrids had a better tolerance to stress than the parents. The hybrid 74LXF59 ("Ababuna") showed consistent tolerance to stress and characteristics consistent with good bean yield.
