Field trial for the control of Aleurocanthus woglumi in the Yemen

The citrus blackfly, Aleurocanthus woglumi (Ashby), is a serious pest of citrus and other crops. A survey carried out in the area showed that the past is most prevalent during June to September. Dimethoate and diazinon were the most effective of the several compounds which were tested. The most economic protection was obtained with three applications at four week intervals commencing in June
