Some physiological factors to be considered for stabilization of arabica coffee production in South India

Annual fluctuations of yield are apparent in arabica coffee production. There is considerable scope for improving the existing cultural practices to obtain uniform yields year after year. It is desirable to examine and modify different management operations, particularly those influencing the crops physiology which regulate growth and yield, to suit to different coffee zones with varied ecoclimate and edaphic conditions
