La supresión de la inflorescencia aumenta el número de yemas vegetativas; las plantas irrigadas tuvieron también más yemas vegetativas que las no irrigadas. El estudio se hizo con C. arabica. (Boletín Técnico - CENICAFE no.5:433. 1977)
