Coffee industry of Rift Valley Province
In Estate areas, it is expected that coffee will continue to do better in areas around Trans Nzoia, Solai, Subukia and Bahati. In other areas like Sotik, Kipkarren/Turbo and Nandi there is no future for coffee. In the Cooperative sector a substantial decrease in acreage is expected from Nandi & Kericho. In Narok coffee can be regarded as a thing of the past. Baringo district and West Pokot will continue to produce coffee but of poor quality unless processing facilities are greatly improved
