Progress dans le traitement et le conditionnement des cafes verts
An interesting experience dealing with processing and grading of the green coffee has been carried out in the Ivory Coast. The reorganization under consideration is based on new principles of processing, the most spectacular application of which being represented by the SERIC plant in Toumbokro. A comparison, from the technical and economical point of views, between the traditional system and this newly applied method clearly shows the consequences of the changes obtained at any level, the principal of which being: - an increase of the growers' incomes; - a qualitative and quantitative improvement of the product
