Mechanical removal of mucilage by aquapulpa; a preliminary report
The use of the aquapulpa as a demucilaging machine or as pulper-demucilager was tried repeatedly at Rukera Factory in the heavy picking period of the 1977/78 crop. The machine was found to work but the wet parchment which came from the aquapulpa needed soacking before drying. The work continues in order to evaluate further details not considered in the first trial reported here
