Insetos associados a polinizacao do cacaueiro Theobroma cacao L. no estado de Sao Paulo

The genera of insects present at hybrid and homogenous cacao plantations over 10 years old were recorded in different countries of Sao Paulo State between November, 1988 and July, 1989. The observations, were mainly made in freshly-opened flowers, using a magnifying glass. At one site a yellow water-trap was also used. The following genera and subgenera of Ceratopogonidae (Diptera) and respective number of specimens were found: Forcipomyia (Euprojoannisia) sp. (13); Dasyhelea sp. (3); Stylobezzia sp. (1) and Forcipomyia sp. (1)
