El uso de plantitas jóvenes de cacao inoculadas con Phytophthora palmivora theobromae para determinar la eficacia de fungicidas
The author discusses a method for evaluating the effectiveness of fungicides by using seedlings cacao plants treated with spore suspensions of Phytophthora palmivora. His studies show that this method permits a rapid elimination of ineffective fungicides. The author points out, however, that field tests are necessary to verify the laboratory tests.
