Controle de nematóides associados ao cacaueiro (Theobroma cacao L.), 1: Efeito de dosagens de nematicidas em mudas enviveiradas

Three greenhouse studies were conducted to evaluate the efficiency of varying dosage rates of sistemic nematicides on the control of nematodes and the effect of carbamtes on the growth of cacau plants of the varieties "Catongo" and "Common". The chemical products tested were Temik 10 G, Terracur P-5G and AC 64475-5G, which were formulated by Blemco in dosages of 25, 50 and 75 mg of active ingredient. Materials were incorporated into the soil of the pots. Results indicated that Temik was the most efficient product in the control of nematodes and differed statistically from the untreated plants. In addition, this nematicide showed certain stimulation of vegetative plant growth, but this stimulatory action was not statiscally significant in the period of the study.
