Avaliacao preliminar de técnica alternativa de controle da formiga pixixica Wasmannia auropunctata em cacauais
Preliminary attempts to reduce the attack of the little fire ant Wasmannia auropunctata in cacao plantations were made using sticky bands on cocoa trunks and the results were compared with insecticide. The results suggest that this technique might be used in the future as an alternative way of reducing ant damage to the crop.
